Daniel Thelesklaf
Daniel, a lawyer by profession, is the former Director of the Swiss Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU). He joined the Federal Office for Police in 1998 to become the first Director of the Swiss FIU after a career in the private sector (banking and insurance). Since 2000, he works as consultant in various AML/CFT and anti-corruption projects and technical assistance missions, mainly in the Caribbean, Eastern Europe and CIS countries. He was Head of the Due Diligence Unit (AML regulator) in Liechtenstein. Daniel speaks German, French and English.
